The Red Brick Hangar: Liverpool’s Answer to Camden Market
The Baltic Triangle has become the place to see and be seen in Liverpool, with the recent opening of the Baltic Market and the Peaky Blinders Bar in Cains Brewery Village. But did you know that it is also home to Red Brick Vintage, one of Liverpool’s best-kept secrets? So what better time to visit than when it has just launched its new Red Brick Hangar?
When I entered the Red Brick Vintage warehouse, I felt as though I had fallen down the rabbit hole and found myself in wonderland. I was immediately immersed in wonderful colours and patterns. I was overwhelmed with the amount there was to discover. From eclectic clothing to quirky furniture and from retro memorabilia to fascinating knick-knacks, the warehouse is a treasure trove full of hidden gems.
But if I thought that the warehouse couldn’t get any better than this first room, I was completely wrong. I then entered the new Red Brick Vintage hangar, which has been branded Liverpool’s answer to Camden Market. The hangar brings some of the city’s best-loved and some of the city’s as-yet undiscovered independent businesses together under one roof.
The hangar was buzzing with activity because there truly is something for everyone. You can search for a bargain at Total Recall Vintage. You can grab some grooming products from British Bearded Baby. You can indulge in a raw vegan naked cake from The Nakery. You can even get a tattoo done at Amythest Ink and a tarot card reading at Mattemaura Holistics.
My personal favourite stalls are For Shore, which gives me serious interior design envy, and The Bloom Room, which boasts an Instagram-worthy flower wall.
So get yourselves down to the new Red BrickVintage hanger to encounter the ultimate shopping experience!
Location: the courtyard of Cains Brewery Village.
Opening times: Monday-Saturday 11am-6pm and Sunday 11am- 4pm.
