Quote of the Week- When you have exhausted all possibilities, remember this: you haven’t.
You’re faced with a problem which you just can’t seem to solve. You get that sinking feeling. You tell yourself that it’s time to give up. In this situation, continuing to push yourself despite the temptation to give up is the hardest, yet often the most rewarding, thing that you can do.
Recently I have been applying this quote to every aspect of my life. When I get confused whilst writing essays for university, I tell myself that there will be another way to tackle the question and it is up to me to find it. When I feel overwhelmed that graduation is looming, I tell myself that there are plenty of opportunities out there and it is up to me to seize them. When I am lacking in confidence, I tell myself that stepping outside of my comfort zone may be scary but it is up to me to take charge of my personal growth.
Next time you’re faced with a problem, remember that persistence is the key to success. There is always a solution, you just haven’t tried it yet.
