The first thing to do is register as a member of the society. Once you’ve paid your membership fee, you can get started posting to the website and will also have priority when we select articles for our print magazine.
This year, the membership fee is £5. Click here to register at liverpoolguild.org. You can also pop in to the LGOS reception (in the Reilly Building, just off of University Square) and pay in person at the desk – just quote ‘Ellipsis Magazine membership’.
Once you’ve paid your membership fee, set up a web account by filling in our Team User Account Form. Agree to the terms on the form and submit your responses.
We’ll get on with setting up your web account and you’ll receive an email with your login details as soon as we’ve confirmed that you’ve paid up. Please note that you won’t be able to log in to the Ellipsis Hub UNTIL you’ve received this email.
Make sure you’ve liked our Facebook Page and/or followed us on Twitter so that you can keep up to date with our posts.
After you’ve liked our public pages, we have a Facebook group which we post team updates, events and major news. Click here to vist and join the group.
If you know which department you want to get involved in (we have writing opportunities in Music, Culture, Politics and Literature, as well as Design and Marketing, Web Design and Copy Editing) visit the Meet the Team page and get in touch with the right person via email. Let them know you’re interested and they can help you to join their sub-team.
All members of Ellipsis are invited along to our Monday Meetings – these are weekly meetings where we dish out our writing opportunities and also announce the latest news.
There’s no need to announce your arrival – just check the table below for the next date you’re free and come along! We’ll always announce writing opportunities here first, so to be in with a chance of getting first pick, come along and say hello.
