4. Watch Romeo & Juliet @ Sefton Park Palm House
After the success of their christmas cinema nights at Sefton Park’s palm house, Independent Liverpool are hosting a valentine’s screening of what is arguably Shakespeare’s most loved tragedy – Romeo and Juliet. What could be more romantic than an evening under the stars? If that isn’t enough to tempt you there will also be a specialist gin and prosecco bar. Not to mention The Midnight Delivery will be setting up an incredible sweet shack.

5. Go For Punk Afternoon Tea @ The Baltic Social
If like me, food is the way to your heart, then get yourself down to The Baltic Social this Valentine’s Day and try their new ‘Punk Afternoon Tea.’ This is certainly an afternoon tea with a difference, offering anything from brioche burgers and salt and pepper fries to oreo chocolate brownies and teapot cocktails. Yum. It is worth noting however that booking is essential. There is also a veggie punk tea avaliable.
